Orphanage visit GLIVA Orphanage Visit: Health Testing for ChildrenOrphanage visit
Green Light Vision Association (GLIVA) recently organized a vital health outreach program at a local orphanage, where we conducted comprehensive health screenings for both healthy and disabled children. This initiative aimed to improve the health and well-being of vulnerable children, particularly those without access to regular healthcare services.
During the visit, we conducted several key medical tests, including:
Tuberculosis (TB) Test
Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C Tests
HIV Test
Malaria Test
Typhoid Test
These screenings are essential for early detection and prevention of life-threatening diseases that disproportionately affect orphaned and underserved children. Our team worked closely with local healthcare professionals to ensure that each child received thorough testing and follow-up care where necessary.
This initiative highlights our commitment to promoting Good Health and Well-being (UN SDG 3) and providing healthcare support to vulnerable populations. By addressing the health needs of these children, we aim to foster healthier futures and build resilience in underserved communities.
